My Philips Avent Connected Baby Monitor parent unit does not charge

Published on 16 January 2025

If you experience charging issues with your parent unit, follow the tips below to resolve your issues.

  • Ensure that the power adapter in use is the original one that came with the unit, and check for any potential damage on the power adapter. If the power adapter is functioning correctly, the green power lamp on the baby unit will turn on after turning the baby unit on.
  • If the parent unit takes longer than 3 hours to charge, the parent unit may have been turned on during charging. Make sure the parent unit is turned off while charging.
  • Charging the parent unit near a heat source may cause it to pause temporarily. Move the parent unit away from the heat source and resume charging as necessary.
