Jon Nilsestuen, PhD, RRT, FAARC is a retired professor and department chairman from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas. His major scholarship interest involved using ventilator graphics to improve patient ventilator synchrony, and he was the co-founder of the Graphics Corner in the Respiratory Care Journal. More recently, research involved using the Graphics from the CoughAssist Device to better adjust the settings and improve patient technique, both supporting better lung clearance.
·  David Troxell (USA):
David Troxell has an educational background in respiratory care science and holds a bachelor’s degree in health science. David has had clinical experience in both polysomnography and respiratory care and has worked in various roles that included projects related to product innovation, clinical research, and clinical solutions program development.
