MGM Resorts International, the largest employer in the state of Nevada, invested in a custom-designed health plan to better manage the wellness of its employees and their families. MGM brought in Philips Wellcentive’s integrated population health management solution to aggregate data from disparate sources, organize it into actionable patient registries, and improve and measure clinical outcomes.


The Philips Wellcentive Population Health Management (PHM) solution was critical to the successful execution of the Direct Care Health Plan (DCHP) and the strengthening of collaborative relationships with the primary care physicians (PCP). The solution gave PCPs a more complete view of the care management framework required to manage their patient population, and enabled the DCHP to identify and close critical care gaps.
