Proudly recognized as a strong player in lighting solutions and kitchen appliances, or as the company that makes Sonicare toothbrushes and baby monitors, SXSW® provided the perfect venue to broaden audience perception of Philips. In fact, while visiting our Health Shack and sipping on a fresh juice, one attendee asked “what does this juice have to do with a lighting company?” After sharing how we provide solutions across all facets of the patient health journey, the attendee became truly excited and expressed great interest in the fact that such a longstanding company was taking on this new initiative focused on connected health. Several iterations of this story were heard during our time at SXSW®. It was incredible to see and hear the positive sentiments about Philips leading in health and wellbeing technology for personal and professional health.
