Dr. Keith Griffin is the chief medical information officer at Novant Health’s Medical Group (NHMG) and a practicing internal medicine physician at Lakeside Primary Care in Concord, N.C. Dr. Griffin oversees all NHMG information technology projects, with special emphasis on the electronic health record portion of the Epic ambulatory project. Dr. Griffin, who has been a Novant Health physician for 11 years, also manages Novant Health Community Connect, an outreach project aimed at converting independent clinics to the Epic system. He received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
