Blu-ray Disc/ DVD player

I Have had The BD2985 Bluray Disk player For A Short time and It Has Exceeded My Expectations, I Love this Player! I Use it Everyday.

Better image quality than the older Philips DVD player, when playing the same DVD up sampling to 1080 must work. i didn't realize that the player will turn on my Philips LCD tv when the player is turned on, SLICK. All through one HDMI cable. No more rats nest of years gone by. Works great, good bargain, small.

This player has a small foot print but lots of features and is easy to use and setup was a breeze. Only drawback is the very tiny remote control with small buttons that you have to press firmly to engage.

I like the size of this product because is not so large and has all the specifications necesary to have a good expirience online.

Took the unit out of the box and connected it right up, reset default, and configured wifi and netflix. Was watching movies in less than 5 minutes. Very Simple....

Right from the box to my TV screen this was extremely easy to setup and use.. Netflix worked great and showed up very crisp, will try Vudo next, but from the previews on screen it looks to be a great option also. It also reads all DVD's, even the one's I had burned, unlike some disc players. Oh, and it improved the picture of the DVD's I burned.

Netflix thru this product is perfect, I love it!!!

Nice product just wish the specs would not state it supports 21:9 aspect ratio when there really isn't any under display settings there is only 16:9 wide or 4:3 or regular 16:9, although even on the pamphlet it states this unit supports 21:9 aspect ratio and if you have a Cinema-wide TV this would be a great feature to have anyhow, other than that this is a solid BLU Ray Player with DivX support as well as MKV file support.

The Blu-Ray payback and operation on this device are fine, and the audio and video it produces are pretty good. It has locked up on a few BD disks, but I have yet to find a player that never freezes up occasionally. We have not viewed any 3D disks, so I cannot speak to that aspect of it.

Not very happy with my blu ray but when my smart TV was broke, could use for kids to watch online. Cant find any info on which universal remote will work ,and without one, my player is useless.
