First things first, I received a free light in exchange for an honest review of this product. I didn't initially know what to expect, but the experience was more en`lightening` than I thought it would be. The light can be adjusted higher or lower for preference, and the angle can be manipulated with the attached stand. It also has a unassuming timer on it, so you are aware of a rough estimate of how long the light has been on, but not acutely annoyed by the timer. A feature that I didn`t think I`d use, but came to enjoy, was the carrying case. The light is small enough to slip in a purse or bag for travel. Having brought it over to grandma`s house, I noticed an unexpected result of having this ambient light running- my 3-year-old nephew relaxed remarkably and was, overall, happier than usual. It is not tanning-style light lamp, so no issues with eye or skin irritation to note. Additionally, this unit charges with an included adapter. No worrying about batteries or always having to be connected to an outlet.

I was sent a free sample of this product to review. It is not something I would normally be in the market for but was pleasantly surprised. During the winter months I have used it first thing in the morning while getting ready for work. I didn't notice a huge difference in my energy level but then I have never had big problems with seasonal affective disorder (as I live in the south). I was pleasantly surprised that I did begin to feel slightly more awake and energized when using the light first thing in the day. Product is easy enough to use and very portable.

I received the energy light in exchange for my honest review. Here`s my take on it: I am surprised at the quality of this light. It really does make you feel more energized, particularly in the winter when it seems like you`re living in dark world all the time. The product itself is incredibly straightforward to use. What I like best about it is that it is chargeable and small. It is absolutely perfect to bring to work. I usually charge it every few days at home, then I bring it to work (it comes with a case so I throw it into my work bag). You place the light within your line of sight (you don`t have to look directly at it or anything) for a little while in the morning and then I also use it in the early afternoon. I can definitely tell a difference between when I use it and when I don`t. It`s better than coffee energy; you just somehow feel more rested and contented. As someone who suffers from Seasonal Effective Disorder, it has made my mood even out and I`m feeling just generally better. I highly recommend this light. The only downside is the app that you can download with it. I don`t think the app is terribly helpful but could be cool which is why it was disappointing. I love data feedback but the app isn`t particularly useful in that regard. However, you don`t need the app to use the light.

I was surprisingly shocked at how much I have enjoyed this product! If you sit at a desk and feel like you are going to fall asleep while you are working, this is great to have sitting in front of you. I am not sure how it does it, but I was practically falling asleep at work one day and I turned this on for about 20 mixtures and stopped yawning and felt wide awake. One thing I have noticed is that I tend to leave it on longer than I should. It says you should only do it for a certain amount of time, but sometimes I accidentally leave it on for more than an hour. I would say if you could fix anything I would say it should have an automatic turn off after it hits an hour. Overall, I received this in exchange for an honest review, and I will have to say that I am impressed with this product! I would definitely recommend getting it!

This lamp highly exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure what I was even getting, since the lamp came to me for free as part of a reviewing system, which was pretty exciting in itself. Once I started using the lamp, I still wasn't really sure what would happen. I somewhat intentionally went into it blind, just wanting to experience the lamp for what it was. What I found is that it very subtly improved my mood and kind of helped me be more productive. Regarding mood, I found that after using the lamp for 20-60 minutes I felt a slight euphoria to overall pleasantness later in the day. This was either the same or in addition to the energy boost I got. Almost like having a jolt after eating candy or a caffeinated drink. Regarding productivity, I like to use things in my background when I do work on my computer. For example, I like lighting a scented candle to help me concentrate while writing. I put the lamp next to the candle while working and felt they worked well together to keep me sharp. The candle would smell nice in the moment and the lamp made me feel great after I finished work (even after I turned it off). Usually, I would also be so consumed in my work that I just kept the lamp on up to or a bit over the hour. I'm not sure if that made a difference from the times I kept it on for 20-30 minutes. Technically, all the buttons work well and the layout is simple. There are 5 light settings. I actually just worked with the dimmest setting. I wear contacts/glasses and bright lights generally give me a headache. The dim setting on the lamp was bright enough for me. I like that it's clear on the lamp how long it's been on, but I don't like that the light flashes for each 10-minute segment. I'm very distractible (which is why I like to focus on a candle or light), so having a constant blinking light could be a bother if you're just looking at the lamp. Typically though, I would just do my work and have the lamp in my periphery so it wasn't that much of a problem. I let quite a few people I know try the lamp out too to get more feedback on the effects. In total, there were 4 of us trying it out at different times. One male in his late 20s, female in late 20's (me), my late 40s mom, and an older woman in her early 60s. We all got positive results. The male was more skeptical in regards to mood, but he did say he had more energy. My mom said something to the effect of, "I can't put my finger on it, but I definitely felt something." Like a change in how she was feeling, for the better. The older woman was glowing afterwards and was almost ready to buy her own. She actually gets into very low moods and has low energy and we both saw a positive change in both qualities after she used it. She said she felt refreshed and overall good. For the developers, I think it would be a cute idea to make the face of the lamp look more like a smile. It already kind of looks like a face (the + and - signs as the eyes and the blinking lights as a mouth), so my mom actually thought it would be cute if the "mouth" was curved to look like a smile :)

This light helped a lot more than I thought it would. I live in sunny Arizona so there is always plenty of sunlight even when the seasons change so I didn’t think that any sort of lighting would have an affect on my seasonal depression but I was pleasantly surprised. I started using this light every evening when I got home from work. I would place the light on my coffee table and turn it on for about twenty minutes while I would talk about my day with my husband. I started to notice after a few days that I had more energy and could make it through my day without hitting a wall halfway through the day. I’ve actually already recommended it to a friend who said she already uses something similar. I’m sad it took me this long to find out about it. The only downfall I would say is that the battery doesn’t last more that a few days but that’s likely because I keep it on the brightest setting.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review of the product. I am not a medical professional so I will not be discussing the use of light therapy for Seasonal Affect Disorder, increased energy, etc. The product itself it very well built, it did not feel like cheap plastic and seems to me that it would last a long time. The light is easy to use, with a power button the side. The device emits a blue light with controls to increase or decrease the brightness. My favorite feature of the light is that it is wireless. After charging with the included cable, I was able to use it on my work desk without needing to have it near an outlet. While the light is bright, I did not feel like it impaired me from being able to work on my computer while it was on next to it. I would highly recommend this particular energy light due to its ease of use, wireless capability, and being well crafted.

Upon receiving my free sample of the Philips energy light, I feel that it`s very useful. I have read before about blue light being therapeutic. This is a great product. I`m going to recommend this for my Mother. Patients in hospitals would benefit from this too and parts of the country with long winters too.

This energy light is awesome!I was skeptical at first because I'm pregnant and have to get up at 5am to get the day started. I used it first thing in the morning when it's still dark outside. I felt so happy instead of grumpy because I am not a morning person. It took a week to really get the most benefit from it but it's so worth it! And its so simple to use! I did receive this item free for this review. My husband liked it so much he bought one for himself!

I was very excited when I received the energy light to review because I have been feeling like a zombie the past few weeks with a young baby boy who still wakes me up at nights to nurse. When it arrived in the mail I opened it up and right away was impressed with the appearance of the light. It is very sleek and modern looking and comes with a nice black case to store it in. I tested out the features of the light and it is very easy to use. Has a nice stand that clicks out from the back to set upright and brightness adjusters to make the light brighter or dimmer. I really like that it has a timer so you can keep track of how long you've had the light going. The instructions say to use it for 20 to 30 minutes a day and since I usually need energy in the mornings and evenings I have been using it for 20 minutes in the morning while I am getting ready in the bathroom, and 20 minutes in the evening while preparing dinner. I notice a dramatic difference while the light is actually on. Right away when I turn it on I feel less tired and seem to have more energy and ambition to get things done. The energy seems to last throughout the day as I have been feeling less tired. At this point if there are lasting effects to my energy level I feel it is too soon to say. But I will definitely be continuing to use the light because of the difference it has made this past week. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
