    less contrast agent [2]

The DCR4 Contrast trial demonstrated that DCR guidance reduces the amount of contrast used during PCI compared to angiographic guidance. DCR lowered the number of cineangiography runs, highlighting its potential as a contrast-sparing tool for PCI, benefiting patients at risk of CI-AKI.

  2. 25%

reduction of time overages for planned cases [2]

    25%

reduction of time overages for planned cases [2]

The DCR4 Contrast trial demonstrated that DCR guidance reduces time for planned PCI cases by significantly lowering the number of cineangiography runs compared to angiographic guidance. This suggests that DCR can enhance efficiency while minimizing contrast use, benefiting both workflow and safety.

    76%

more staff confidence making treatment decisions [3]

A survey of 38 participants across six countries found that the Philips Coronary Suite increased confidence in making treatment decisions compared to multi-vendor cath labs. Clinicians with experience in both settings reported enhanced decision-making support.

  3. These results were obtained during an independent survey performed between July and December 2022. The survey involved 38 participants from 6 countries spread over technologist, nurses and physicians. Questions were asked to participants that had relevant working experience in both a Philips Integrated Coronary Suite (combination of Azurion, IntraSight and Philips Hemo, Eagle Eye, Refinity and OmniWire) and a multi-vendor coronary cath lab (A multi-vendor lab is a cath lab where the equipment needed to perform the procedures is not supplied by a single vendor). The main objective was to evaluate the benefits of a Philips Integrated Coronary Suite compared to a multi-vendor lab.
