Philips Capsule Medical Device Information Platform (MDIP) can now be integrated with the Philips Information Center iX (PIC iX).
Get a never-seen-before, deep clinical perspective of the patient, enabled by live data and waveforms flowing freely across a variety of device manufacturers on an open, scalable platform.
MDIP liberates live-streaming patient data from nearly any medical device so it flows through PIC iX, giving you a near-real-time, digital, vendor-neutral and unified view of the patient.
PIC iX shares comprehensive patient data wherever needed – on a mobile device, at the bedside or central station – giving you capabilities to act anywhere so you can take control of a situation from wherever you are in the hospital.
Using the PIC iX role-based access to aggregated, vendor-neutral data housed in the Philips system, you can control who sees and acts on patient information.
Philips Capsule integrates data from over 1,000 medical devices. For the first time, data from Capsule-connected devices such as ventilators and IV pumps will begin to be available in the PIC iX.
In addition to providing clinical data to over 100+ downstream systems, MDIP also provides live streaming data to PIC iX
Data captured from Philips Capsule MDIP is integrated in the PIC iX, enabling active patient monitoring and shared across downstream systems. All software lives in this network, providing standard configurations and driving consistent clinical workflows.
Hospitals with Capsule MDIP that add PIC iX can access a broad set of retrospective, high-fidelity patient data that can enhance clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
