Connected care
Philips, with the support of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and The American Legion, is building enhanced telehealth experience pods at sites across the United States for veterans living in remote, or underserved, communities. This April, Philips visited Eureka, Montana, to kick off a design session for the first telehealth site opening later this year.
During the VA’s ‘Anywhere to Anywhere, Together’ Summit in Washington, D.C. in December 2018, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Philips, VFW and The American Legion announced a joint program to place telehealth units in up to 10 VFW and American Legion posts across the U.S. by the end of 2019.
To better understand the challenges rural veterans face, Philips, the Department of Veterans Affairs, The American Legion and VFW didn’t just create ideas for veterans, we partnered with them to create custom solutions that work. This is ATLAS. We’re enabling healthcare access in remote areas across the U.S. so that all veterans can get the care they deserve.
