Surgeons and radiographers who use a C-arm during surgery each have their own level of experience and way of working. This can lead to miscommunication and frustration for team members, which can result in extra images, X-ray dose, and delays. The Veradius Unity mobile C-arm tackles these issues head on to improve surgical efficiency and enhance decision making.
When you would like to experience the benefits of the Veradius Unity yourself, please request a demo and you will be contacted by your local representative for a follow up.

If you’ve ever struggled with teamwork during surgical imaging you know how important ease of use is. Especially at night or in weekends when a lot of medical staff use your system in a shift. Its unique tablet-like user interface is extremely user friendly1. Collimate with one finger. Swipe through images. Experience simplicity.
It’s not always easy to correctly position your imaging system during surgery when the surgeon, technician, and C-arm system are all looking at the patient from a different angle. Our Veradius Unity with ClearGuide feature is designed to help surgical teams communicate consistently by providing a language for positioning that can rarely be misunderstood.
To easily mark a bifurcation or side branches on live fluoroscopy images, the optional outlining tool allows you to draw digitally on the touchscreen monitor with the clinical image using a stylus pen or your finger. Simply press the undo button to correct or erase the outlining.
Returning the C-arm to the exact position can require additional scout images without extra positioning guidance. For example, if you want to check placement of a pedicle screw during spinal surgery. With Position Memory, you can store up to three C-arm positions and recall them later, on the screen when needed, to speed up re-positioning.
When precisely setting pedicle screws, placing a stent graft, or delicately inserting a pacemaker lead – fast, high quality imaging is a must. It’s the experience packed into a 3rd generation flat detector system, ease-of-use features, and live image guidance that make our Veradius Unity mobile C-arm so exceptional.
