Here are three simple brush head tips you can use to really improve your brushing game.

1. Something for everyone

Every human has a unique set of teeth, so it’s only logical that people have different oral health needs. We offer brush heads that are not only brilliant at removing plaque, but that also cater to all types of additional brushing needs. From whitening and reducing sensitivity, to cleaning between your teeth and improving gum health; whatever your focus is, we have the right brush head for your needs.

Tip: You don’t have to stick to the brush head your toothbrush came with. Our click-on brush heads are interchangeable, so by all means try them out and find the one that fits your needs best.

2. The three-month switch

You may not necessarily see it, but brush heads wear down over time. After three months of normal use, the bristles have lost their stiffness and with it their ability to properly do their job. So either replace your brush head after three months, or when the blue reminder bristles on your brush head have faded to white - whichever comes first. Make sure to replace your brush head before it’s worn out if you want to keep getting the most out of your toothbrush.

3. Keeping it clean

Bacteria can build up just about anywhere, including on your brush head. To keep your brush head clean of food particles, rinse it with hot water after you brush. Make sure to store it somewhere where it can dry completely, and ideally not touching other brush heads.

If your toothbrush came with a UV sanitiser, you can use that to kill up to 99% of bacteria. On the road, the travel case keeps your toothbrush and brush heads safe and clean. Try not put your brush heads in there when they’re still wet though.
