The new Natural Response nipple is designed to work like a breast, with a unique drinking valve to mimic the way your baby naturally drinks at the breast. All the while keeping the wide-breast like shape and soft texture that babies loved in our original Natural nipples
From old to new
Finding the right flow
It can take a few tries for your baby to get used to the Natural Response nipples, especially if they’re used to a traditional nipple where they don’t control the flow of milk.
If your baby is already used to the original Natural nipple, we suggest to go directly to a higher numbered nipple from the new Natural Response range. See our chart for guidance when transitioning from our previous, free-flowing Natural nipple

When should I change flows?
Feeding cues lead the way
Every baby has their own drinking rhythm. The best nipple flow for your baby is linked to how enthusiastically or steadily they like to drink, regardless of age. So, when choosing a flow, watch your little one's feeding cues.
Does your baby seem frustrated or fall asleep during feeds? Is your baby playing with the nipple instead of drinking? If so, try a higher flow.
Do you see milk leaking from your baby's mouth? Is your baby gulping the milk down? If so, try a lower flow.
