Philips employees identify the company as a top employer in five states across the country Created by Forbes in collaboration with market research company Statista, the list is divided into 51 rankings, one for each of the 50 states plus Washington D.C. It was compiled based on survey data from 80,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees. The surveys were conducted on a rolling basis from October 2019 to May 2020, with responses being compared throughout the process to account for any statistically significant variations in the results collected before and after the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.
