How to use your Sonicare power toothbrush with braces

Get the most out of your Sonicare toothbrush by following these easy steps

Think of your mouth as divided into segments. Your toothbrush will vibrate when it’s time to move to the next segment.

Gently glide brush along your gumline at a 45-degree angle, making sure to use a light fingertip grip.

Clean your braces by first brushing above them.

Then rotate brush to reach below brackets at a 45-degree angle.

Then brush along surface of the braces.

Step 6

Behind teeth, tilt handle semi-upright and make several vertical overlapping brushstrokes on each tooth.

Continue to chewing surfaces, maintaining gliding movement.

Washing brush head and connector.

Step 8

Remove the brush head from the handle and rinse it thoroughly with warm water, then rinse the entire handle—especially the brush head connection. Gently clean around the rubber seal and allow them to dry.
