6000 series Smart Ultra HDTV

I've lived with this set for 2 years now and am still amazed by the picture quality and the fact that no one will review it online and compare it to the more popular sets. Before I bought it I checked out all the competition in person and this set equaled the best of them for a lot less money. I've read the one star reviews and can only say I've seen none of the problems or issues described and am incredibly satisfied with this purchase. One thing to note.....I use a Roku box, so I can't comment on the "smartness" of the TV, but any TV you buy with specific apps built in will become obsolete as apps come and go, so I'd never use that as a criteria to judge tv performance.

I DID MOUNT MY NEW TV ON THE WALL AND THE ONLY THING I COULD NOT FIND EITHER PIN THE MANUAL OR ONLINE IS I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT IF THE FOUR SCREWS ON THE BACK OF THE TV WAS FOR MOUNTING THE TV ON WALL. I THINK THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE INFORMATION THAT THESE FOUR SCREWS WERE FOR MOUNTIMG THE TV ON THE WALL

I just purchased this tv yesterday at Walmart, for a fantastic price. Only been watching since yesterday, picture is so beautiful, crisp, colors are bright. Actually I don’t use the smart tv, because I have a NVIDIA SHIELD , works perfectly with it, if anything changes, I will update.

Just bought it. Did the Wal-Mart 3 year warranty plan through statefarm. Reading the bad reviews, I can't believe people are so uneducated as they can't figure out the controls to use the smart tv apps. I have it set up and I'm blown away with the sound and picture. I can't wait till I get to watch the Superbowl on it!!!

Just gotten use to the features of this product. I have to say, what a difference a few years make. I recommend this TV 100%

I gave it 4 stars for ease of use because the menu system is a bit clunky, but workable. I agree with other reviewers, in that the picture is fantastic. The only (minor) complaint is the sound is weak in the frequencies that cover speech. Dialogue is overshadowed by the rest of the audio. I have a sound system previously used on the TV this 75" monster replaced, and use it instead of the built-in speakers, and that takes care of that. With that said, evendors without the sound system, it's an excellent TV. My wife loves it...I do too.

The 6000 series Phillips 4k tv is in my view the absolute best value for a HUGE 75" display hands down! I spent nearly an hour playing with the various picture settings to get the best looking picture. Blacks looked extremely dark and inky..not light black or dark gray and I saw no light bleed in a dark room setting..the sy-fy classic Prometheus was being played via blu-ray player and it looked absolutely glorious! This tv is on par with tvs that cost twice as much..for the few people who gave this tv a bad/negative review I believe that you have either little to no knowledge of how to set this tv up properly and/or you are just plain lazy and don't want to make any adjustment for the best looking picture..this is the best tv purchase I've EVER made!

I've had this TV for almost a year now and it's incredible. I can't understand why the big name online reviewers haven't reviewed it..........I'm guessing it will make the completion they're used to recommending look pretty bad, especially when it comes to price. You can pay twice as much and get a little better performance or wait a few more years for competitors current model prices to come down.......but why......16K sets will be here before you know it. It seems the industry is focused on 65 inch screens as their bread and butter......but the additional 10 inches makes a significant difference. I watch a lot of satellite TV and it's perfectly fine on this set. Can't speak to cable or streamed content. I just bought a 4k Ultra HD player, but most movies are not shot in true 4k, so they're just upscaled.........but they do look good. So do regular Blu-Ray discs. Sit close to the screen and be mesmerized! So far I haven't had one issue or connectivity problem with this set (knock on wood). The blacks are incredible......I'd go so far as to say almost OLED quality........almost. It's plenty bright (blinding actually with really bright scenes), has no problems with sports action, and looks darn impressive hanging on the wall. Best electronics purchase I ever made. Don't forget........if you buy it with a major credit card the credit card companies double the manufacturer's warranty. This pretty much unknown 75" 4K TV from Philips kicks some serious butt!

After 2 weeks with this item I can say the following: THE IMAGE QUALITY IS AMAZING. Contrast GREAT the COLOR is SUPERIOR SPORTS LOOK TRUE TO LIFE. MOVIES LOOK PERFECT BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK OK what is the bad? the apps on this smart tv are limited. The standard VUDU, HULU, NETFLIX all work great. But I cant get PLUTO TV app :( APPS Are limited. PLEASE PHILLIPS UPDATE SO I CAN SEE PLUTO TV! The sound system is not great. ADDED a sound bar with wireless sub woofer and now sound is perfect ( got a sound bar that I can lower volume with standard remote received).

Great tv and picture. Would purchase again if this tv stops working. Have no problems what so ever. If hooked up correctly you should have an amazing picture, sound and be able to enjoy it for years to come.
