Wireless stereo speaker

I was looking for a bluetooth speaker that was loud enough to fill a small room. The Philip speaker fits the bill. It has a pretty good sound and decent bass. I connected it to my phone and pc via bluetooth. It connected quickly and easily. It also worked on a phone call I made, but I had difficulty hearing the other line. I only tried it once, so I'm not too sure if it was the other line with the issue. Beware, the speaker isn't very portable. It's pretty large and heavy. About 3lbs. It doesn't have a handle, so it's better to transport it with two hands. Not a big issue for me since I wasn't looking for portability.

This speaker works very good the only thing I can find fault with if you close your paired device there is a long lag in reconnecting to this speaker but other than that is is a good product.

I purchased one of these speakers for christmas 2016. I was going crazy trying to get it to work. I thought I was making mistakes because it simply would not work. I then discovered that even though we left it plugged in for 12 hours brand new, it still only had the minor original charge and would die in 2 minutes... So it turns out, as others have discovered, the quality control and durability of this product is on par with an eggshell as far as the power port is concerned. I have through trial and error discovered that the unit will charge IF it's upside down and the cord hangs down at a 45 degree angle...so if you try all sorts of angles and gravity assisted pressure it MIGHT start to charge. BTW you know it is charging when the Red LED flashes. If you are using the unit and Blue and Red flash (it sort of looks purple) it means the battery is almost dead. This kept happening while I had it plugged in, but since it wasn't charging while plugged in I thought I had some Other error...uggh..hours wasted trying to use this speaker.
