Philips Norelco Shaver 6700Wet & dry electric shaver, Series 6000

I chose this rating largely because the older 6000 razor systems are bulldogs compared to the newer ones. Believe me, I know from whence I speak. I ordered two different newer type 6000s, and they were a bit wimpy for me. I have places where I must press down a little more than usual, and both of the new ones wailed like they were coming apart. I sent both back and bought two(2) new older models, and away we go!!

Have been using Philips trimmer and shaver more than 5 years but this one is mix of both so I don't have to purchase trimmer separately.

quick setup, charges quickly, and I experienced the best shave in year. Love the cleaning features of rinising out under the facet. Would recommend this product to anyone

I have been using Phillips Norelco Shavers for probably more than thirty five years. This is by far the best one yet. Typically I purchase new one every three or four years, but this one might not get replaced. The blades cut closer than ever. The easy to clean head is an improvement over older/less expensive models. I am not sure it really glides better, as the company claims; but one cannot argue with the results. Easy to keep in its stand, I charge it up maybe once every three weeks or so. Good product indeed.

It was a present for my father's 85th Birthday. It worked so impressively well that i'm about to by one for myself.

i have had my shaver for about a month now and it has been wonderful using it everyday . It gives me a fresh and refreshing shave each time i use it.

I purchased the 1180X in Nov 2010. It was a pretty expensive product when I purchased it on Black Friday at Kohls, but I wanted something that would last. Since purchase, it has consistently provided me great shaves. I happen to track the days between charges. In the six plus years I have owned this, it has averaged approximately 70 days between charges. The longest being 86 days. It is still working just like new, however, the plastic case has recently begun to crack in a circle around the On/Off button. Since I do not know how much longer it will survive, I have purchased the Norelco 9850 I will use the charging station from the 1180X to hold and store my new 9850 since my new razor does not come with a stand.
