Amazing value
This product should be available in the US, although admittedly this is a fairly new product. I bought this item when I was in Korea, and I feel like every penny spent was well spent; highs, mids, and bass are all clear and articulate. Stylish design that rivals the Beats brand, and a quality of fit and finish that surpassed my expectations. Well worth above its asking price judging by sound quality alone. Just make sure you get some nice T-series Comply eartips, as bass quantity and sound quality diminishes greatly w/o a good seal. Please keep up the good work Philips engineers!

"Elasticized rings" coming apart.
I demand high quality sound (not an audiophile) and this product delivers. I really like the fit and comfort of the S1. The S1 looks look but ..... The "elasticized rings" on my S1 are coming apart after only 2 months of gentle use. It appears to be a design flaw where the rings are simply glued on and moisture/time will work the adhesive loose. I am not sure if the rings/adhesive effect the sound but the S1 sure does not look good without the "elasticized rings".
