Google Gaming TV7600 Series 144Hz 4K UHD Gaming TV

I'm thrilled with this product. Got the 43" variant, to use as monitor and TV. The interface is simple - the familiar and smooth "Google TV" that runs atop Android TV. Oddly enough, Google TV front end is running atop Android TV 11 (Android TV 14 was just released 05-2025) – but it is smooth to use-perhaps we have some upgrades to look forward to?) Billed as a "Gaming TV" because of its snappy 144 Hz refresh rate, my primary motivation to purchase was to use this as a productivity monitor, with some media consumption and light gaming. I was thrilled to find the high refresh rate for a smooth experience. It was important to me that this NOT be an OLED - I didn't want to have to worry about "burn in" that OLED based sets experience. The picture is great. It has a wide range of simple controls to adjust it. It's incredibly pleasing to the eye. Sure, you might argue that is not as bright, or doesn't have quite as punchy a dynamic contrast ratio as some technologies - I'd challenge you to criticize the picture if it wasn't immediately next to another set. I was lucky, didn’t see a single dead pixel in my 4k screen. Packaging was smart, supportive with full face protection to support shipping. Sound is good. Very decent for speakers that fit in this trim package. Good enough that I don’t feel compelled to turn on external speakers for most of my use. Simple, clean design and attractive, non-descript centered base. Standard VESA mount pattern makes changing to other wall mount or stand options easy, Remote: unbelievably good! Backlit. Welcome numeric keypad. Very pleasant feel in the hand. And, lets also not forget the absolute bargain price point. I looked. I looked a lot. I do not think thatt there is a better all around value from any manufacturer in this size range. Odd that the market is in such a rush to provide larger and larger entertainment 4k devices, that they've left the segment barren for reasonable 4k devices that can deliver 120 Hz or higher, from 32 to 50". If this had been available in something smaller - between 32 and 42, I might well have taken it, more on size at the end. The only caveat to using something this large as a monitor for productivity, is that you have to be able to sit back about 30", or more, to be able to comfortably take it all in at 43". To mount on a desk that would make even considering larger sizes next to impossible on a desk. If your desk is narrow, consider adding an extending keyboard tray? and/or wall mount monitor to remove from desk to get a comfortable usable distance for your workspace. Overall: an INCREDIBLE VALUE. Great performer for an office, bedroom or dorm situation where you can’t utilize a larger size. You would have to spend twice the cost to compete with the refresh rate, and at this size you’d likely then be forced into an OLED which is great for just for gaming, but failes miserably with long run burn in issues for use as a monitor, or TV that might be running news with logos and screen crawlers.
