Roku4000 series LED-LCD TV

The price was right and the picture is clear. Easy on my eyes.

Pros. - Picture is amazing. - Lightweight and easy to setup. - Very good overall quality and can't beat the price. - Has the features I wanted, as well as the ones I did not IE the camera. Cons. - I was trying to access the picture settings from the home settings and only found brightness. I had to contact Philips support to find the rest of the picture settings (contrast, color, sharpness, etc.) I had to go into Netflix and press * to access those settings... I dont understand that. At all. I was close to giving this one a 1star on that alone. But since support was able to get me there quickly, they get a pass. But be warned

tv turns on, but no light. are there parts available for this still? I know it's 6yrs old- super sad now, I loved my TV :(

So far we are enjoying the quality and still learning the functions and options all about the tv. I found out that while registering our tv that as I corrected the date of purchase was on 1/16/2023 that the system continued to submit a day prior to purchase (Ex: 1/16/2023 the system continue-1/15/2023).

The size of the TV is nice and the picture is good. Unfortunately, if you are looking to steam content, it regularly kicks you off of whatever app you’re using and seems to have trouble staying connected to WiFi (despite it saying it has a good connection). Super frustrating!

Had this TV for 2yrs, barely use coz it a spare in the loft, all of a sudden its on black screen with sound. Tried everything to reset that youtube and google tells me. What to do???

I don't know what's up with this TV, whether I got a faulty unit or it's just garbage, but I've tried to use two sets of external speakers with this TV (which work perfectly with several other TV's I have). With this TV, the speakers I use refuse to produce the improved sound. To be clear, the audio is transferred from the tv to the speakers just fine, but it is only outputting at the TV's speaker volume, not the speakers.

Worst TV Ever. The app system is terrible and constantly kicks you off Netflix! Don Not Buy. You will get ripped off!!!!

Philips is the worst brand. They don’t warranty or stand behind their products. This TV has vertical and horizontal lines going through it after 4 months and Philips won’t do anything about it. They put the blame on the customer and don’t take responsibility. I won’t be purchasing another Philips product.

I bought this TV as a spare as I thought it was decent. Took it out to replace an 10+ years old Samsung TV. Connected it to an Apple TV as we don't care for Roku. Pictures went in and out. I thought it might be the HDMI port so we switched to HDMI-2. Same thing. So I thought it might need a software update. I connected it wireless to my wifi router. Started the software update. It never finished. Hours later... nothing. So I reset the TV using the reset button. hold it in for 30 seconds as recommended. Nothing. The remote registers. When I clicked on anything, it gives a feedback sound. But the screen is completely black. I called Phillips and they told me they won't do anything about it, eventhough it is new. I can't return it as it was bought a while ago (as a spare). I wanted to know how to possibly reset it to the beginning. I can't. Phillips is no help. This Phillips TV is a piece of junk. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PHILLIPS TV. Phillips will not stand behind their products. They produce junk.
