Philips Norelco 8200 seriesElectric razor

This razor is far superior to the previous model that I bought that was of the "pedestal-head" design. This one is easier to maneuver over the contours of face, jaw and neck. It has a larger shaving surface and a much larger whisker reservoir. It is much easier to gain access to the area on the backside of the rotors for cleaning. It has a more stable "feel" while being gripped in my hand. As a result of these advantages, it delivers a closer shave more quickly. However, I wish that the designers had created a different latching mechanism release-control for unlatching the head; the button sometimes catches on a roll of skin while shaving my neck and opens mid-shave. It also would have been a nice touch to have provided a vertical stand to hold the razor when it is not in use. Your Customer

My third Norelco since 1971. Best of all. Easy to clean, quiet, charges quickly and best of all a great shave.

Monthly cleaning of the heads is a little bit awkward. I do not have a heavy beard, but there is no problem with going 20 days between recharge.

I was at first disappointed because this product did not have all the features my old model Norelco had. This was mainly battery condition indicators and etc. However, after using for a week I was really impressed with the great shave I am getting. I am fully satisfied with this product.

I like everything about the razor except one thing and that is I cannot tell what the battery charge status is even though your literature indicates there is such a feature.

Quick re-charging time is excellent compared to older product.

I am extremely happy with my new Phillips razor. It was worth every dollar!!

ease of use and good comfortable design. Fits the hand easily. Good cutting surface. Fast charging makes this shaver even better.

I get a close shave and the trimmer is nice for the sideburns and mustache areas. The blades were easy to replace.

I have been shaving for 60+ years and this is by far the best shaver I have owned !!!!!
