Philips Norelco 8200 seriesElectric razor

Have had this Razor for many years and still going strong. In need of a replacement charger. Any suggestion where I can get one?

Had the 8250XL for about a month and it is great. Previously had a model HP1601 norelco for over thirty years that could no longer be repaired, and I thought it shaved very well. The 8250XL blew away the old razor away with performance. Should have changed years ago.

I fully charged my razor after first receiveing it and have not yet had to recharge it...and I've already used it for a whole month. It holds a charge for a very long time. Also, the shaver cleans easily & thoroughly.

The unit is well designed easy to use and delivers a close comfortable shave. More so than A competitive make that I used before.

The razor is the best electric I've owned. It gives me a close shave, runs quiet, and can go a couple weeks between charges. I like that I can run it under water to clean the shave heads and when it does need a charge, it's usually is done within two hours. The only complaint I have is that the manual warns not to over charge. Now it will tell you when it's fully charged, but an auto-shut off feature would be more convenient and I wouldn't have to rely on my memory to unplug it.

8250 XL (I think XL means a faster motor, so I'd specifically look for that). It's the best Norelco I've ever owned, a huge leap forward. The new head has more slots and for the first time ever, gives a shave that approaches a blade. This thing purrs, it's so smooth. It easily shaved a long growth of 5 days without pulling, which former Norelcos would have pulled and struggled with. I threw away that dumb little stand - I guess it saves 2 sq. inches of counter space, standing the shaver on end. The pouch doesn't hold the cord, but I think the idea is to just prevent beard dust from escaping the shaver in your travel kit. No big deal. Overall, it's a 5-star electric razor. I was impressed.

Impressed with two major features; 1) the closeness of the shave and 2) how quiet the shaver is! It re-charges quickly and stays charged for several days before needing another re-charge. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product to date. Let me know if you ever make a left-handed model!

The indicator lights is a must. I want to know when I am getting low on the charge...the 8260xl would not warn you. My new shaver does everything I want. Thank you for offering this shaver.

I have never used this style of razor and am quite surprised and pleased. Shave is super and runs quietly. Holds charge well.

Ease of use was rated less because the base should be weighted. It sticks to the shaver when I pick it up.
