Philips Norelco Shaver 1200dry electric shaver

This shaver is very smooth in operation, having virtually no vibration. The shave closeness is very good. My shaver did not come with a protector for the shaving head--it does not have a plastic cover for the shaving head to protect the head against damage while the shaver is stored (such as in a drawer). After removal of the shaver head, such as for cleaning, I noticed that it is necessary to push the head straight onto the shaver body in order to engage the head to the drive pins properly. Alternatively, if the head is put onto the body at an angle, and then folded into place, the drive pins will not mate with the head properly, and the motor will not be able to start.

I just purchased this product did not like that it took 10 hours to charge but it works great and I got a close shave I would highly recommend this product

where is the head cover and travel bag. that is what I miss.

I bought this product because using conventional razors are no longer an option due to the type of medications I take and a bleeding risk. This shaver leaves my skin smooth--better than a conventional razor and my hair doesn't seem to grow back as fast. Wish I would have tried it sooner! It works so well that my daughter bought one two days after me.

I'm 66 and got my first (and only) Norelco electric shaver while in High School. Recently it quit working and the repair man suggested either buying several shavers for parts, or, to recognize the many years of service and get a new one. So I did today. My previous Norelco was rugged and easily handled several days growth of beard, while a newer other brand struggled. I joked that I could have taken my old Norelco out into the yard and trimmed and edged with it. I'm a Norelco guy - and looking forward to my first experience tomorrow morning with my new Norelco electric shaver ! Thank you for a great product. Peace.

Not as good as the one I replaced, but then I got a good deal on it. My old Norelco I had for ten years and spent twice as much for it. It was time for a retirement

I am disappointed that there is no cover to protect the cutting heads when in storage of a travel kit.

The shaver works, but is no better than any other electric shaver I have used. The motor sounds slow and weak, compared to previously owned models (same brand), but seems to perform about the same.
