Blu-ray Disc/ DVD player

This Blue-ray works fine. Easy to use whith a smartphone och tablet.

I got this to replace an OLDY MOLDY that I got at a garage sale for 4 bucks and it finally bit the dust. This one reads way more media than I thought. I got it because it said it reads blue ray and dvds. BUT it also reads all other formats computer made disc such as cd-r/cd-rw, mp3,wma,and many more as well as JPG files etc. you know pictures on your cd's. It also has a USB jack on the front, so if you have a USB device to plug in there then your good to go. You just hook to your HDMI slot on the back of your TV and you get picture and sound. I just happen to have wired in a network cable in my bedroom when I was building the basement and even though this device has WIFI for internet, it ALSO has a wired network jack on the back, now I can turn my Net-Flix account back on and do the movie thang. It also has you tube videos and it's just a very nice unit.

This player works well with DVD's but the "smart" features are not so good. The YouTube access does NOT work - it continually indicates a 404 error which is not fixable with firmware. Canadian buyers beware as some of the features are NOT available in Canada unless you use a geo-unblocker. Netflix works OK and it is easy to convert this player to "region-free". I bought this unit on sale at a big discount so am reasonably happy with it. If I had to pay full retail I would be returning it.

This worked excellently for the first 4 months. Just discovered that youtube no longer comes in. "error 400" -whatever that is. Could find no info on the internet. Would love it if Philips would release a fix in the next software update. If not, i'm moving on to their competitor. I had no complaints before this.

This thing wont let my phone connect through the usb port it has very few apps and the ones it does have are messed up my netflix is super slow on it and it will cause skipping during the programs and the YouTube doesnt even work at all and couldn't get it registered through divx without downloading a file that I couldn't transfer because the usb port wouldn't accept the connection...thanks for the junk sitting in my house! Wasted funds!

Haven't had this blue ray for 3 months and the YouTube app keeps saying error 400 and the Pandora app is stuck on buffering.

When first purchased this product worked great!!!!! After only a few months my YouTube (which I use often) no longer works. Very upsetting. There's not tech support on this issue nor is there anything online. So now I much spend more money on a new one.

Bought this and it doesn't have an option so save the Internet. so everytime I watch Netflix I have to have someone go downstairs to push WPS on the router and I have to push ok on the tv. now that doesn't work at all because it won't connect beyond frustrated
