Enhanced Accessibility
Progressive Scan doubles the vertical resolution of the image resulting in a noticeably sharper picture. Instead of sending a field comprising the odd lines to the screen first, followed by the field with the even lines, both fields are written at one time. A full image is created instantaneously, using the maximum resolution. At such a speed, your eye perceives a sharper picture with no line structure.
Enhanced Accessibility enabled products provide a more user friendly experience for visually and hearing impaired people to enjoy Philips televisions and home video players. With features such as a voice guide menu, easy to read and navigate user interface, raised guide dots on key remote control buttons and large format support information so visually impaired people can reach customer care; Philips cares about accessibility and wants everyone to enjoy television.

Waste Of Money
My previous Philips played PAL format DVD's just fine so I bought myself another player. This one doesn't. And it took me 6 months to figure it out as I had it saved as a backup. Total waste of money and completely useless to me.
Pros
who cares
Cons
Doesn't work the way I need it to
