I have had this for several years, bought it on Amazon and mine, at least, is a multi-region player. This means that I can play any DVD's sent to me by my friends in Europe :-) Love it!

The best DivX player on the market. Plays all my movies off of my flash drive.

I have owned this model 16 months now and I bought it because of the specs. And it has been one of the best DVD players with Divx Capability I have ever used. Any issue I have had has been contributed to video format error and not a DVD player. The only one issue if you can call it that is that the Disc tray has slowed down a bit. but that is so minor it is ignorable.

I buy nothing but Philips DVD players. They can do anything, they can play any format. Period. All the other brands are nothing but aggravation and a lotta hype. You don't need to spend top dollar to get the best DVD player.

This little DVD player was so inexpensive I bought one for me and a friend. It plays AVI's right off the internet. Wife and I watch TV shows and movies burned to a DVD-RW erase and burn over and watch again. nothing ever fails to play and this player will fit anyone's budget.

It's the best DVD player I know. Plays a lot of formats, superior to other brands. Just opening big photos is a bit slow and lags behind other brands. The design is good but I find that the material is dull and takes a little beauty. Greatly recommend this DVD player.

A little bit slow, when loading ExHDD through the USB, otherwise perfect unit considering upconvrting DVD.

This is a great player with superb upconvert qualities. The only drawback is that the USB port cannot be used to connect a portable harddrive to play movies from the drive.
