DVD player

My client could`nt play DVD`s I made with his old DVD player. I installed a new Phillips DVP3570 and it played them with no problem. He was really surprised!

I needed an over the air video recording solution back in 2006 and logged many hours on the 80 GB version. When my girlfriend needed to break the ties with cable TV. I didn't hesitate to order it's bigger sister the DVP3570. It's been flawless. We have made DVDs for the family as well as many hours of watching shows commercial free. Any talk of it being complicated is probably just the result of something with so many features inherently being so.

I have had this product for over five years and it still runs like clockwork. It even plays burned photo's and homemade movies.

Only problem I have is that rented movies will often stop in the middle even if I have them cleaned before I bring them home. So I can't really rent dvds from our local store and play them. I can often play them on my computer so it definitely seems to be the touchyness of the player. Other than that it works great.

I bought this DVD player for basic movie watching. No fancy features required. The users of this device often fall asleep while watching their movies. Unfortunately, the device does not shut-off or go to sleep upon the completion of a DVD feature, and it does not have the provision for a sleep timer. As a result, the device wears-out too quickly for me. Over time, the player refuses to read perfectly good DVDs, skipping and locking-up.

I've had to replace my HDMI cable because the "fit" of the high end HDMI cable with the Philllips DVD player jack seems to be poor since we occasionally lose "audio" when watching a DVD HD movie. This does not occur with our Panasonic DVD HD players.
