goLITE BLUenergy light

I love my goLITE Blu by Phillips. Its muti features make this my go to device. It definitley has helped me out thru these winter months to not get such horrible cabin fever and depression. And its alarm clock has proven to be the best i have owned.. The shade of blue it puts off is inviting and beautiful and does in fact resemble a blue summer sky. I feel anyone who suffers from seasonal depression or cabin fever could definitley benefit from this light!

While the product delivers it's the aftermarket that is not up to par.

I've used GOlite BLUE for many, many years. It helps me get through the long winters here in Minnesota. The automatic shutoff (using the timer) is one reason I think this model is the best. My GOlite BLU is set for 30 minutes so when it shuts off, I know I'm done. With other lights, you need to keep glancing at the time or other indicators. I've tried different forms of light therapy (even from other manufacturers) and conclude that Philips is the best and the HF3332 is the best of the best.

I've been using this light for SAD and have had great success with it. After only a week's use I found my mood improving (or at least not getting worse). And I can feel a difference when I forget to use it for a couple of days. I've used this light for a several of years and find it really useful, in combination with other therapies, in treating depression. I particularly like the size. I just use it anywhere, next to my computer, in bed, on the couch, wherever. Also, I can easily bring it with me when I travel. My biggest complaint is that programming is not user-friendly. I'm surprised it's not very intuitive or easy (especially if you lose the manual). But overall I like it a lot and would recommend it.

Helps me when I'm feeling down. gives me the Boost of energy and brightens my eyes to strive on. I would recommend this idea to other MOMS that are needing some much needed light. ~Mama

I am living in a humid country with plenty of sunshine (most of the time) Yet, I have not always been exposed to much sunlight as I would have wished because I am always under a roof with plenty of air condition, and also because I feel that Sun exposure is not good. To sum up, I have been years in lethargy and have always thought I am anemic, or I may have low blood or some underlying condition that I do not know. This affected my work and my life so much so I researched on how to improve my energy and I came to this device. I used it at my workplace and it benefited me as I know longer am as tired as I was back then, and my mood has been better. I will definitely keep this device as part of my life wherever I am (whether I'm in a cold or humid country)

It's really good. The light really does all the things that its description says. I'm happy using it everyday.

The research behind this unit must be spot on because I have been able to shift my circadian rhythm to a much more socially normal pattern. I used to get my best wind in the evening--especially after the sun went down. I could stay up late and do things I couldn't during the day. My mind was clearer later in the day. The problem was that I had a "normal" job and had to get up early in the morning. So I was perpetually sleep-deprived. I just couldn't make myself go to sleep when I "should" at night. And getting up in the morning? Well, that's an entire odyssey in itself to describe. But after a couple weeks or so of using this, there was a tremendous and noticeable difference in my sleep pattern. I wouldn't doubt that the FDA will start regulating these types of devices in the future, requiring a prescription. Since I've had it, there was a time I found myself really busy and just didn't use it like I should. It wasn't too long before I found myself having a sleep marathon one weekend. "Withdrawal symptoms," if you would. :) As soon as I started using it regularly again, I get back into a better pattern. I thank God for the research that has spurred this little box into existence. Though I suffer from anxiety and depression and still take medication for it, the goLITE BLU has greatly eased the symptoms on the circadian side of things. As too many of us know, who are here to examine this product, sleep issues that cause you to sleep too much will only make everyone else view you as lazy and disrespectful for being late so often. Believe me: this helps.

Whenever I use this light in the morning I never notice an immediate effect however I notice it over days: the days I use it I am always to get to the gym and maintain a stable mood. I skipped using it for a week and became a little depressed (not full out) and I went back to using it and I immediately shook off whatever was bothering me. I am in Vancouver, Canada and the winters are long dark and wet. I really recommend this product.

This has been an invaluable tool for fighting low mood during the winter months.
