Soundbar speaker

Needed more then my 46 inch TV speakers were producing. Have a small apartment but wanted a theatre sound without being overwhelming. This product was beyond affordable and I was blown away by the surround sound. In fact, I have it at the lowest sound setting with great results and can hardly wait to use it in my 5 bedroom home in Texas. I would definitely recommend this to friends. You do have to buy your separate audio digital cable (can't understand why its not included) but well worth the purchase. Thank you Philips for providing a surround sound system I can afford.

Nothing comes with cables, so I would expect to buy the cable, it's a great sound for the price. Perfect for an apartment.

When I received this package, I was disappointed at the size of the box, but when I opened it, I saw that there was a fairly large subwoofer, and the sound bar came in three pieces. I was relieved to see that it was of good size after assembling the three pieces I gave this product an overall rating of four stars, and the reason being that it's not LOUD loud, but it does have a great sound and will enhance any television viewing experience. The performance is excellent with a deep bass. Besides the fact that the highs weren't HIGH high, everything else about the sound is great. I gave the Ease of Use four stars because the remote isn't as responsive as some of my other remotes. The response time sometimes lags and I have to press buttons more than once to get it to work. The design of the soundbar will complement any flatscreen television. It's height is just right to sit underneath the television without obstructing the view. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. It makes my television viewing experience better than it was and I highly recommend this product.

Not bad, doesn't sound too bad for 60 watts; a major audiophile might want to go 120 watts, but this is fine for my small area.

Once I got it working, found the sound to be great for a medium/large bedroom. It was not clear that it WAS indeed working because the design starts it at the lowest volume setting and you may hear nothing; that combined with a delayed warm up and slow responses from the remote may make you believe you have a "dead" unit.

Has good sound, but after a few months all of a sudden the sounds keeps cutting out. Very frustrating. It also does not come with any cables.

The speaker worked just fine for about a year, then just randomly turnsx off then turn back on (five minutes later, might be hours)? I have updated the firmware and no improvement. When it worked it was not very loud, but more than satisfactory and sounded much better than the television speakers.

The product stopped working after 4 months. It cost me more to repair than actual price.

I bought AV wires and fiber optic I hooked everything up and lights came on on the bar and no sound came out. Uhg. Double checked. everything. I even hooked up an ipod to it. Nothing. Bad Christmas morning. Returning it ASAP.

I bought this unit at Wallmart and when I went to install it there was no audio connection. The Support Person on the phone said that I had to purchase the cords my self. I have friends that have other Soundbar units that came with the wire. HMMM. buyer beware this is not a complete package.
