Affordable sound!

I've used Philips home theatre before and have been completely satisfied by the sheer attention to detail. I got it on ebay for sub 100. and i'm absolutely happy with it. Really a slim profile and fits under your TV not blocking the TV IR sensor. the best way to connect it would be via HDMI cable. I'm able to control the soundbar volume with my tv remote. Comes with wired subwoofer, it would be best to place the sub on the floor corner. Sound is fantastic, faithful reproduction to the original source. Philip's attention to detail is great. BASS is decent but not floor thumping. It produces just the right amount of bass. the pre-set sound modes are good. I usually choose AUTO so you get good sound. Now the virtual sound is good too, not like a dedicated 5.1 system but gives you a wide sound stage. My only complaint is that the 'Night mode' does not work well, to enjoy good sound from this system you need raise the volume to 50% or more silent viewing at night not possible!
