Philips Sonicare PowerUpBattery Sonicare toothbrush

This is the best toothbrush I have ever used. It is the same as the electric powered offered by Philips with the convenience of a battery. This is a requisite when I go to places that do not have an electric plug in the bathroom. I bought their replacement model & it feels like it only has a very, very gentle (read as almost imperceptible) vibration. I'm definitely not satisfied with the replacement brush. It doesn't provide that same feeling of clean teeth--a must for me.

I like that it is battery powered and does not have to be recharged and you just replace the 2 AA batteries. Years ago I had 2 different Sonicare brushes and the battery was not removable so you put it in a charging unit and eventually just had to recycle it. This brush is not as powerful as those older models but it still does a good job of brushing my teeth.

This is my intro to Philips Sonicare toothbrushes. I have used another popular brand of electric toothbrush in the past and I paid around $40 for it as well as other battery operated brushes by some toothpaste makers. I was actually looking for a different brush but this was one of the only ones they had so I took a chance on it. This battery operated brush is easily the best I have ever used.I read some of the one star reviews so I’m gonna try one of the better models in the future but no complaints about performance from me, my mouth has never felt this clean. I’ve been using it for two weeks and can see where it has reduced the plaque on my gum line my mouth feels like the dentist cleaned it after every brush now.

Love the toothbrush and although some stores still carry them the replacement brushes are no longer available. Purchased at Walmart and now they do not carry them nor the replacements.

This is the best powered toothbrush I have used. My teeth and tongue really feel clean after use.

Reviews were correct in saying it takes a little getting used to but now I actually look forward to brushing my teeth! Love the timer feature and love how clean my teeth feel.

I used the original Sonicare over ten years ago, and have tried other battery-operated toothbrushes over the years, but this is the first toothbrush that I've used that gets my teeth "dentist office" clean. I use the stiffer bristle head, and find it not too stiff to hurt my gums like manual brushing with medium-stiffness brushes would do. This works like a charm --- just glide it along the gum line and it cleans your teeth and massages your gums. Batteries last a long time with this unit, certainly longer than I expected, and the brush heads last a long time, too. I use an external battery charger and rechargeable batteries to save some money and reduce the impact on the environment. The replacement head design is a snap-on rather than the old screw-on heads, which cuts down on cost and waste. I'll never go back to a manual toothbrush again!

It works great!! Took a few uses for me to get used to how to hold my mouth open so it didn't bang against my other teeth...but the clean is awesome and after 5 months it's still running strong.

I bought one of these a while ago, and yes, it's a shaker, and I wasn't sure about it at all. After using it for 6 months when the hygienist wanted to see me every 4 months, I went in and she said my teeth and gums looked "perfect". That's a far cry from "need to see you sooner than 6 months". It does take some getting used to, but once you do, it's benefits are noticeable.
