Philips Norelco Shaver 5750Wet & dry electric shaver, Series 5000

This is my second razor that I have purchased because I like it so well. Get One; if you like comfort. I am almost 74 and have purchased every type of razor out there, I believe. No other razor comes close. I have sensitive skin and it can not be beaten for comfort.

Purchased the Norelco Norelco Shaver 5750 Wet & Dry electric shaver a little over a year ago. This razor gives a excellent shave. You must use it in a circular motion to give it time for your beard to adjust to this razor. To avoid having this razor shut off when shaving; The user should move their thumb up higher on the razor just below the shaving heads when shaving. Follow these tips and you should get a great shave with your Norelco Shaver 5750 Wet & Dry electric shaver. The shaving head kept coming off of the razor as I was shaving after having used it about a year. Called the Customer Service Center and spoke with Lora. She asked me the right questions and Norelco sent me a new base to hold the shaving heads within a few days. The razor is working mighty fine now and I am back to getting a great shave every time I use the razor. I have been using Norelco Razors for over 20 years. This was the 1st time that I ever had a issue. Norelco quickly addressed the issue and sent me a replacement part! Thanks Norelco

This razor is AWESOME! I get a SMOOTH, CLOSE shave! It contours my face and neck VERY well... Oh and, I LOVE the "TURBO" speed!

Philips just keeps improving their razors year after year! They get better and better with each change/update! This razor cuts as close as a regular razor and shaving cream. No worries about cutting yourself and no hurtful pulling on your facial hair. Great battery life and the cleaning machine works great.....cleans it as if it was never used!

After reading some reviews I want sure it was for me. I am so glad I decided to purchase it. It shaves close, is easy to clean and well worth the price.

I bought this shaver for my dad. He is disabled, has Parkinson's disease, and lost part of his jaw to cancer. I had to find something easy for my mom to hold when she shaves him. She said of all the shavers dad has used before, this one is by far the best ever. It is easy to hold, use, and clean, and gives the closest shave.

This is my 4th Norelco in about 35 years; by far and away the best one--closest shave, near zero irritation, long battery life, great ultrasonic cleaner.

What can I say. When only the best will due. A preasure to use.

This razor works great and gives me a close shave. The automatic cleaning feature seems to be working very well. It is replacing a very old Norelco that has given me many years of good service. Hope this one will do the same.

Good Price for a Great Product. Purchased the Norelco Norelco Shaver 5750 Wet & dry electric shaver at a Walmart. This was to replace my 7 year old Norelco XL1250 unit. I have read many reviews on this product from other user's and I will state my review. The power cord must be inserted at a angle into the cleaning/charging unit base. The supplied cord does fit both the razor and the cleaning charging base fine. There is no mention of how the user must insert the power cord into the cleaning/charging base at a angle in the owners manual. I plug in the charging/cleaning base only when I am going to clean or charge the razor. This will extend the life span of the cleaning cartage to about 3 months. Leaving the unit plugged in to a electrical outlet only uses up the cleaning solution a whole lot sooner. DO NOT PLUG IN THE CLEANING/CHARGING UNIT UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO USE IT. Let the battery totally discharge so you can build up battery storage capacity. The battery will hold a charge longer. This same principal also applies to cellphone battery storage. This razor gives a excellent shave. You must use it in a circular motion to give it time for your beard to adjust to this razor. To avoid having this razor shut off when shaving; The user should move their thumb up higher on the razor just below the shaving heads when shaving. (Norelco needs to add a thumb rest for the user's thumb to rest right above the on/off button on your future models in order to avoid the user's having their thumbs shutting off the razor when they are shaving with it.) Follow these tips and you should get a great shave with your Norelco Shaver 5750 Wet & dry electric shaver.
