Philips Norelco Shaver series 5000Wet and dry electric shaver

I have a tough beard and the shaver does a terrific job when shaving. Always buy and have great luck with Norelco shavers. This one is ranks right up there the best. My hope is that it last as long as the others have.

I have used electric razors before and they have always gave me razor burn. I bought this from WVC on a whim knowing I could return if it didn’t live up to the advertising. After the second time I used it I threw the box away. I am beyond pleased with this product.

I like that it can be used both in shower and out.

Excellent razor for a great shave. Would definitely recommend this razor for anyone that needs a great shape.

It growls occasionally. Can I put a drop of 3 in1 oil on it? Also I am vision impaired and find it impossible to change the blades. The older razors were an easy one hand release but my 5000 takes three removable rings and I cannot do it. Can you eventually make it easier for old vision impaired guys?

Could not believe how good it shaved my face the first time I used it. I got a close shave with no problems. I've been using Norelco Shavers for years and this one has to be the best one I have ever owned!

I had been shaving every 3 or 4 days because of irritation. Now I shave every day with ease using the turbo speed and it only takes a few moments and thank god no irritation. If you get one make sure you read the instructions and understand them if you do this you will be super surprises with the perfect shave.

This shaver is excellent. It provides a great shave. Used it a week ago and I haven't had to shave since. My husband bought both of us one and we love them! Great product!

This is a replacement for another Norelco shaver I liked and used for over 5 years. This one is even better. Gives a close shave and is comfortable to use.

As a long time Norelco user, I am pleased with the improvements furnished by the 5000 model. The swivel head is very efficient and the hand-grip is excellent. The design folks have exceeded expectations again. The packaging folks, not so much. The carton is a tree killer and is at least three times larger than needed. I live in a recycling community and had to break down a large box full of superfluous internal partitions. There is technology available to reduce this waste. Use it!
