Philips AventMy First Transition Cup

I was fortunate and got a chance to try this cup as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. After trying two other sippy cups without success, my kiddo loved this cup! The handles are great for those working on coordination and dexterity. I loved to wide slit in the nipple which helped my kiddo drink from it without having to suck with huge force. Taking it apart to clean was a breeze. It did make a small mess when he threw it around but what cup doesn't. I would highly recommend this cup

I have been using this cup for the last few weeks with my daughter who just turned one. I wanted to give it a proper test drive before reviewing it. The cup is smaller than a lot of those on the market, holding 4oz. This is just about perfect for my little one. She doesn't take more than that at one sitting and the smaller size makes it easier for her to hold in her little hands. I was excited about the handles, so of course, she refuses to use them. Isn't that the way it always goes? Luckily they can easily be removed (thanks for the great design!) While this isn't designed or advertised as being "leak-free" I found it was much better than the cups I had used with my first at limiting leaks or in the case of her chucking her cup on the floor at meal time, explosions.... The flexible spout is both awesome and problematic. Awesome because it is soft which is nice when they are teething, is super easy to clean and it helps reduce leaking.... problematic because when she is teething she wants to chew on it. All in all this is a really great transition cup that I would definitely recommend. Thank you to the Wee Spring Parent Panel for giving me the opportunity to try out this great cup!

Our 9 month old uses this transition cup at mealtimes, and it has worked wonderfully. It is a small cup, so it fits nicely in her little hands. The additional side holders also help her maneuver the cup on her own too. She has figured out how to drink from the spout easily, and the best part is that when she repeatedly throws it from her high chair, it never spills! I highly recommend this cup! I had the opportunity to try this cup as a part of Wee Spring Parent Panel, but the opinions expressed are my own.

I got a chance to try this cup as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and my daughter took a liking to it. I've been thinking about starting her on the cup and this came right on time. Hopefully she continues to use this transition cup until we put her on a regular cup!!

I was given this cup as a gift from Weespring. I love the cup! My daughter does too. We were using another sippy cup but she seems to like this one more. It seems as if it's easier for her to hold. I love the fact that it comes with a sippy cup nipple as well as a bottle nipple. It's also very easy to clean and the nipple doesn't grab color from the food, as opposed to the other sippy cup we were using. Overall very happy with the product!

I got a chance to try this cup as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and my little one LOVES it. We have tried a few other sippy cups that he didn't show too much interest in but this cup proved to be just perfect for him. He has no trouble with the spout and is able to get just enough liquid.

I received this cup as a gift from the WeeSpring Parent Panel, and this is the best transitional sippy cup we've tried! The handles are nice and big and spout is made from the same flexible material as the nipple, so my daughter instantly was able to drink from it. It is easy to clean and convert from bottle to sippy. However, it only holds 4 oz of liquid, so we can't use it as both a bottle and a sippy at the same time. The water comes out of the sippy spout quickly, so be prepared for water everywhere as your little one is learning!

I am a big fan of the Philips Avent family of baby products. My son really enjoyed this sippy cup. It was light weight, making it easy for him to hold on his own. It also was very easy to clean and very modular so we could use it in different ways (different nipples and with/without the handle). My only complaint is that the lid and the nipples seem a bit thinner/flimsier than some of the other Philips Avent products we have. I got a chance to try this cup as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and was so happy I did! I'm trying to transition my son from the bottle to a cup and this was perfect! He does like to shake it around so we had to be ready with a rag to get the little drops but so far this is awesome! It comes with two transition nipples that make it easy to go from bottle to sippy. I recommend this for everyone!

I got a chance to try this cup as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and spent this week trying it out. My 8 month old skipped the bottle like nipple and went straight to the soft tip sippy. She loved this cup on the first try! I found that lots of sippy cups are so hard to suck the liquid out. This is not the case with this cup. And yes. . . I try all the cups to make sure that we don't have a frustrated baby on our hands. I think this cup will make a regular appearance in our rotation. We are currently working on water with every meal and hopefully switching to sippy cups for breast milk soon! I think that will happen sooner than later with this cup! Especially since she is able to hold it so nicely with the handles. I really love the easy to clean feature of the cup! It is really great that all the pieces come apart for cleaning, including the handles! Breast milk is so fatty that the buildup can hide in nooks and crannies.
