Philips AventAnti-colic Bottle AirFree vent

This being my second child it was fairly easy for me to navigate around the different bottle options out there. I had a lot of success with my son using Avent bottles. Easy to hold, no nipple confusion, and fun prints on the bottles. However with my daughter I had a lot of difficulty with Gas and she would cry and fuss. I tried several different bottles but with little luck. WeeSpring Parent Panel offered me a chance to try out the Philips Avent Anti-Colic baby bottle with the slow flow nipple. As a nursing mom who supplements it was very important to me to have a nipple that would not allow the milk to flow out too fast. The first thing I noticed was how to properly hold the bottle so the AirFee vent was at the top. Took a little getting used to for hubby who never looks as he feeds her but not a big deal. I didn’t try the bottle for expressed milk only powdered formula, but I noticed that the foam from her bottle was not being ingested as easily using this bottle. That was a huge step for me as the foam would cause gas bubbles. Overall I was pleased with this product and still use it. Although I would have definitely been happier had I tried it out sooner rather then at 3.5 months old. I think it’s important to note that the air vent also comes out for cleaning, but then once your baby stops having problems with gas as they grow you can just remove it and have a regular bottle as I plan to do.

I got the anti colic bottle set with the air free vent and I just wanted to try to see if it would fit and work in the natural bottles to. It did and I live that it did because my son does so much better with the natural bottle better but adding the air free vent has help his excessive spit up

My 5 week old daughter only burped about 25% of the time & would scream in pain from built up gas, adding these air vents to her Avent bottles along with her probiotic drops and she was a completely different baby after only 3 days she's gotten all the built up air out of her & is burping easily after every bottle. I'll recommend these to every parent I know & I'll never use any other bottle. I can't thank you all enough for giving my daughter the chance to be a happy comfortable baby!

Really good bottles my baby love it. No more colic, fussiness, criying.

Before receiving the Philips Avent Anti Colic Bottle and Nipples from WeeSpring Parent Panel to review, we were using the Avent Natural so we were already familiar with the brand. I am fortunate that my daughter doesn’t suffer from colic, but did sometimes get bouts of terrible gas despite consistent burping. I found that the Anti Colic Bottle helped reduce her gas pains and was impressed by how simple yet effectively designed it is. The Air Free vent is simple to use but most importantly easy to clean unlike comparable options that use a straw to vent air away from the nipple. The less effort I have to put forth in bottle feeding, the better! My husband and mother-in-law, who also give frequent feedings for my daughter, also commented how easy the anti colic bottle is to assemble and use. My only caveat, which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5, is that I wish the nipples were similar in shape as the Natural ones. I didn’t try to switch the nipples since I wanted to use them as intended, but the first few days of testing, my daughter would bite down or pull back from the nipple a bit until she accepted it. I chalk that up to preference and don’t count that against the design of the bottle and nipples.

I recieved this bottle and extra nipples through weespring parent panel for free. The good and the bad...well the good I love the style of this bottle. It's easy to clean the top part pops right off for easy cleaning. The bad... baby refuses to use it. Hes breastfed and hes very picky. He would drink it for a second then he would start chewing on it. I was praying he would love it but he doesnt. I've tried many bottles the only one I could get him to use is the dr brown bottle and it was my mother in law that got him to take it He refuses the pacifier also! That goes to show how picky he is. But overall if you dont have a picky baby like mine then you should totally try this bottle out. The style and the cost alone would make me want to buy it if I seen it in stores!

Thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending these to us to try. We were really looking forward to trying a new bottle since we’re trying to transition completely to bottlefeeding within the next month for travel. Phillips Avent bottles were our go to before and pretty much the only bottle that my 8 month old liked. I’m sad to say that this bottle didn’t work for us. Not only were they a little more difficult to put together which can be a little trying when you’re moving fast to feed your baby but I had some issues putting the air vent back in and almost broke my nail trying to put it back together. That was a bummer. My daughter is kind of picky so I’m not surprised that she didn’t love the nipples. I thought it was a learning curve for me but I continued to have to try repeatedly. Once I did get the top on and feed it to my girl , she seemed to drink a good bit and then I’d try again. I did like the fact that there were not any gas bubbles. The second time around , it seemed a little leaky but that could have been due to my putting it together. I liked that my daughter could hold the bottle herself with no problem. I’m still holding on the hope that maybe one day these will work better for or maybe the next baby. Thanks again weeSpring !
