The clock backup memory will be missing when power supply interrupt occurs. You need to reset the clock time after switching the device on again.

To avoid the clock backup memory missing, insert 2 x 1.5 volt batteries typed AAA (not supplied) into the battery compartment.This will act as a clock memory backup.
