Clean after each use
For hygienic reasons, we recommend cleaning your Philips Avent smart ear thermometer after each use. A lens filter is not needed.
Use a cotton swab
1) Moisten the cotton swab with a few drops of alcohol and wipe the surface of the infrared sensor gently with the swab.
2) Immediately wipe the surface dry with a clean cotton swab.
Use a soft dry cloth to clean the body of the device.
Store the device in a clean, dry place at room temperature.
