aptX is a digital audio technology which enables streaming of high quality (CD-like quality) stereo audio over Bluetooth connection between the Bluetooth source device (such as a smartphone with Bluetooth feature) and a Bluetooth “receiver” device (such as a Bluetooth speaker).
