Regularly descaling your Philips Avent Premium 2-in-1 Warmer & Sterilizer or Premium Fast Bottle Warmer helps keep it clean, safe, and work well for longer.
Descaling every 2 weeks is recommended for best performance, but if you live in an area with hard water, consider descaling more frequently.
Check the following instructions to learn how to descale your appliance.
Mix 60 ml/2 oz of white vinegar with 120 ml/4oz of cold water in a separate container.
Pour the solution into the base of your bottle warmer.
Switch on your warmer, select the 180 ml/6 oz milk volume setting, and press the button to start.
Leave the solution in the warmer until it switches off automatically.
Pour out the solution sideways into the sink to avoid spilling on the knob and plug, then rinse the warmer with tap water.
If you still see traces of scale after rinsing, repeat the procedure.
Notes:
Your appliance is also safe for use with citric acid-based descaling solutions.
Do not use descaling solutions other than those mentioned above.
