Amazing Picture Quality - best in class.
This TV has amazing picture quality for the price. If you know anything about LED TVs you know the picture features like back-lit LED and macro dimming are important. That is why this TV is a step above competitor TVs in this class and price point. This "smart" TV does have Netflix and Vudu built-in but also has the NetTV/vewd platform which offers a few popular and interesting apps but overall the app selection is obscure and "B-list" apps. Therefore if you want lots of app choices then this TV is best paired with another device via HDMI which offers 4K and more popular app store selection. Again the 4K (yes it will do 4K-SMPTE) is better than any other TV in this price point.
