5000 series Smart Ultra HDTV

The picture is beautiful and there are so very many different options one can choose with this television. I’ve barely scratched the surface and am learning new things all the time. There are those I don’t understand how to use yet, but that’s not to say those things wouldn’t be easy for others younger than me and/or with more technical knowledge. I also love that there are buttons on the remote to watch Netflix, VUDU, and YouTube without actually downloading their apps. I definitely recommend this television because even without accessing everything it has to offer it’s still amazing.

I havnt had the tv long but it has everything I need and more in a tv. Very good pitcher and sound well worth the money

The tv is overall excellent but lacks output for older stereo receivers which I have. I will need to purchase a converter for the optical output as a result.

I bought this TV in November 2016 it worked perfectly without a flaw until July 2017, I called Philips and they replaced it quickly with another TV and its working Beautifully. I would recommend this TV.

Aside from the basic tv features of tuning and picture quality, Philips provides its own smart tv line up of shows that one may find fun! One is the "USB" input, which if you have pictures or music of your own production, it makes for a fantastic wide screen picture or slide show. If you like learning there are courses on Astronomy and Biology and history from "public television" and multitudes of childrens animations. PBS digital studios is a true resource. That's on Xumo, which also highlights: pets and sports and other talents. This is without mentioning netflixs or vudu. So there are mega opportunities to explore and enjoy, on your own schedule so much that even if its available other places, I'm not certain it will be such an interesting mix. Thanks Philips!

I'am very very pleased with the Tv overall performance. Easy to set up and performs excellent.

I had problem at first when using as monitor for computer, but I updated video drivers and this corrected the problem

I bought this tv on black friday. I wasnt even looking for a tv but stumbled across this one and couldn't pass it up. The price being so low may make some people shun it, but im telling you this tv is all that and a bag of chips. the picture and sound are all a step above my other 55 inch that i paid more than double for. I wish i could have bought ten og these.
