OLED Series65 inch OLED 120 Hz Roku TV

I have been impressed with this television from the first time I saw it on the shelf at Sam’s Club . There was at least forty televisions all on the same channel, the Phillips Oled stood out with the best picture of all of them. After making my way to where this TV was on the isle I was blown away to find not only did it have the best picture it was on sale at a super price. There was no way I was leaving this store without this TV. It is now in my living room with a beautiful clear picture. Linked up to my Bose Ultra sound bar with and Roku account with no problems.

I needed a new tv. Had a Hisense H9G. It lasted about 5 years. The tv was used a lot. The picture started degrading. I saw this tv in Sam’s Club. It was on sale. The price was fantastic for an OLED panel tv. Picture is outstanding. I do prefer the 4k firestick because it uses Dolby Vision. I prefer the colors and overall picture over the built in Roku version

We’ve had this TV for several weeks now and so far it seems like a steal at roughly $300-$500 cheaper than better known brands. We own two LG OLEDs as well, and the Philips picture seems just as good. We did turn off the Roku AI picture adjustment feature and set it to Movie; and the colors seem more realistic. We do like the Roku streaming environment and have their devices connected to all of our other sets. We are using a sound bar and speakers that we had used on the set we replaced and can’t comment on the TV’s sound. Our set arrived undamaged by FedEx.

I can't believe how wonderful the color is! As I walk into the living room, I'm amazed at how vibrant the colors & clear the picture is.

The package arrived damaged, There was actually snow inside the box. We were thankful that the TV worked fine after setting up though.

Great tv for the money. The only problem I have is getting my soundbar to work correctly. Tried different cables and tried the optical connection on a Bose soundbar and it didn’t work correctly. Tried soundbar on my other tv and it works fine. The built in speakers are decent

I setup this tv yesterday and while everything about it was great I do have an issue which is significant to me. I also have two LG tv's a 77"QLED and a 55" QLED. Since I'm hearing impaired, I'm used to being able to setup a converter using the optical port to wirelessly support hearing aid. However, the audio connection I most use is a bluetooth connected bone conduction device from Shokz. This has worked very well but sometimes I have to fiddle with the settings when I want both audio output from the Tv and output to the Shokz headphone I now have 3 of the headphones paired with Asidra wireless adapters through a Fiio A3 amplifier to a Fire table to listen to podcasts. These setups work great for me. Now, the Phillips 65OLED974 doesn't seems to support any of this, no headphone jack no bluetooth some mention of a jack on a smart remote with some TV's that have hardphone jacks, but not this TV. So, not happy about this issue but I hope I can find a solution. Otherwise, great TV for what I paid at SamsClub $627 with tax on a closeout deal.

Since buying this tv we have had issues with it. While watching a show the screen will just go blank & return to the home screen. Sometimes when you try to turn it on it does not respond & you will have to unplug power cord then you hear a click & when you plug power cord back in you hear a click then the tv will turn on.

I bought this TV less than four months ago from Sam's Club, and I already regret the purchase deeply. At first, the picture quality seemed promising—deep blacks and vibrant colors like you’d expect from an OLED. But fast forward a few weeks, and the honeymoon was over. Suddenly, a bright vertical blue line appeared every time I turned it on. Not only is it distracting, but the entire screen now goes completely dark moments later—rendering the TV absolutely useless. I've tried every troubleshooting step, including resets and source swaps. No luck. It’s baffling how a premium model like the 65OLED974 could fail so quickly. For something marketed as high-end, this TV feels like it was built to disappoint. And don’t get me started on customer service—it’s been a maze of robotic responses! Phillips, this model is an embarrassment. I paid for quality and longevity, and got a defective panel and no support. Steer clear of this one unless you like expensive paperweights.

I purchased this TV a month ago from Sams Club. While the video quality is excellent when it works, the TV shuts off after a maximum of 10 minutes—the screen goes blank, though I can still hear the remote sound when I press a button. I’ve tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps. Unfortunately, dealing with Philips warranty support has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming, with no clear resolution in sight.
