Philips Norelco 6000 seriesElectric shaver

I have used this type of shaver for over 40 years.My last one was this same model and I used it for 15 years every day with no problems.I will keep using them as long as I can buy them.They are the best shaver you can own.

my old norelco needed a part which i reasearched was told no longer available. So I decided to order a new one. i had trouble finding the model with a trimmer. After i ordered the new one more reasearch i found the part i needed. So now i have the old razor that works fine and a brand new one for a spare. This is probably more than you needed to know. anyway thats my story.

The only problem I am with this shaver is with the required cord. The coiling is too tight and the plug is too loose. It is a bit of chore to get the cord to extend long enough to be relaxing when shaving. The plug sometimes falls out when the cord tugs on it a little. The quality of the shave and trim is excellent.

I purchased the rechargeable shaver and am pleased with its performance. It is easy to use and clean. The owners manual was informative on care and maintenance.

I like how quiet it is and the softer edge of the trimmer.

Lightweight, very quiet, a great 2nd Norelco for my travel bag.

I had to decide whether or not to get new heads for my old razor or get a new one. While this one is corded I find that it gives a good shave and the cord is not that unhandy. I believe I made the right decision.
