Philips NorelcoNIVEA FOR MEN shaver

This shaver gave me the best shave any of Philips shaver I've ever owned, and I've used Philips rotary shavers for more than thirty years. When it finally broke, I replaced it with the new top of the range 9000 series: unfortunately that is nowhere near as good.

Best ever but why advertise when they are not available , stoped making years ago, I bought 6 at that time, can't get parts , so why ???

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiancee. He was suffering from horrible razor burn every time he shaved. Once he got this razor the razor burn went away completely. When it was eaten by a rogue dog who found the nivea creme very tasty he missed it terribly. Currently in the quest to find a new one.

This was a Christmas gift to myself, because my last Norelco battery finally gave up after too many years to remember. It was one of the first to deliver Nivea lotion on demand while shaving. I was already sold on the system. Why buy any other brand of face grinder when you can have a Norelco face skin conditioner? Another plus is the fact that my wife of 22 years loves my smooth (baby) face each and every day. Anyone who complains about using too much conditioner should be careful how they position the unit in their large hand, so as to keep their thumb off the dispensing button. A little dab at a time will do ya just fine. I found that I don't have room for the auto refiller; but have no problem refilling the Nivea manually. The unit really does rinse totally clean while running under warm water. It's waterproof. Replace the conditioner /shaver heads once a year.(also saves time performing this daily pleasure) Enjoy as much as I am.

Great razor that really guards my face from razor burn. REcently bought replacement blades. They came with a replacement reservoir for the Nivea. All fit well and work well, but are different color and look bad on the unit. Small price to pay, however for the great shave.

I have owned the 8060x shaver for over two years and has performed flawlessly. The shaver is always ready for me in the morning and continues to give me a great shave!

I've had this razor for a couple of years now and really like shaving in the shower with Nivea skin conditioner. Easy cleaning & maintenance for this razor. If it gets any better than this, I don't know how. Reliable and simple as well cost effective. Great product!

It shaves a lot closer than I expected. The blades do need replacement as recommended - the new blades shave closer and don't pull on the whiskers. I'll will be buying a new set of blades next year.

I bought the 8060X from a local dealer. The shaver was excellent, but the refill/charge stand ejected the razor while refilling, cracking the razor and denting the shave heads. Philips Norelco replaced the broken razor with a newer Nivea-equipped model that is, as I have learned to expect during 30 years of using Norelco shavers, well designed, easy to use, and durable.
