This was just what I needed. It was easy to doc my iphone and user friendly...just read the manual! :) CANNOT ADD OTHER SPEAKERS to this unit...just fyi

I bought this for my husbands Christmas present. It was easy to assemble, the sound quality is excellent.

Love the booming sound on movies, also love the wireless rear speakers. Has a very nice sleek design.

Awesome sound! Had to resort to the SPDIF digital audio coax output from my Philips 55PLF5706/F7 TV, (which btw, the HDMI ARC never worked since purchased from Amazon). Now my BlueRay HTS fails to startup (bad power board?)

I just got this to see if it was any good. It sounds good and I love that it supports hdmi arc. The boot up does take a while, but most systems are about the same. The wireless speakers are nice. Haven't had any problems.

It's not the best philips has done but sure enough it does the job. It is sleek, light weight, and easy to put together. The sound is fantastic and love how it takes over the room.

I have had mine for about 3 years now. At first all of the features worked amazing but after 11 months the dvd player wouldn't play blu-ray dvds,cds,or regular dvds.making it a necessary evil to have another dvd player on the entertainment center. Now at year 3 the speakers are not working nearly as well. The rear speakers often decide to not work. So those action movies that used to make you feel like you were at the theatre no longer exist. However I still give it a 3-3.5 it's easy to use .the mp3 option is by far the best feature this system has to offer. If you're looking for the full blu-ray surround experience I would recommend you keep looking unless you prefer having multiple devices on your TV Stand.

System has worked fine for 8 months. The receiver for my rear speakers has suddenly stopped working, however the other speakers work just fine.

I bought this because one of those rent-to-own places had it. Sure, I pay a lot more, but I've got bad credit and I could take the unit home instantly. First, the unit takes forever to boot up. 15 to 20 seconds maybe more. I like to turn the unit off after I'm done with it, but at the same time I sometimes leave it on because I hate to wait. Second, I like that it has wireless rear speakers. The problem is that they they don't always get connection. I will have to turn the unit off and back on, this my boot time is doubled because I've done it twice now. I've only played 4 or 5 Blu Ray/DVD's since I bought it, so I can't comment on that parts reliability. Navigation is a bit slow as other/s have said. Button presses sometimes take a few seconds to get recognized, sometimes not at all. Sometimes you'll press and think it didn't register and hit it again, only to find out it now registered twice and you passed what you wanted. I think there's a way to adjust sound such as bass and what not, but I can't remember where I saw it. I'd say a firmware update would be nice to address some of the issues we have.

I have had this system for a couple of years. Worked great for quiete a while, and then when it crashed, it crashed! It will no longer boot up and I have a dvd that is stuck in it! Spent way to much money for a system that isn't used on a regular basis to stop working on you. Very disappointed! The Phillips 42" tv has out lasted the blue ray player by a land slide! Wouldn't recommend putting your money into this system. It won't last long enough to get your money out of it!
