I bought this dvd player for my 10 year old son for christmas. He has more than gotten his moneys worth of use. He takes it everywhere with him. I love the fact that it has a power cord for use in the car. And the battery life is great. I would definatly purchase another product like this one.

It's just the right size to take out on the patio or sit in bed with and it is easy to set up and use.

The Phillips portable DVD player is so easy to use and provides easy functions to play a dvd.

This product is great when it works correctly, this is the 4th dvd portable dvd player from Phillips that I've owned and they are just not built to last. This is for my son and it is very frustrating when he is watching a video and the screen all of a sudden turns green or red on him. The previous one started turning blue so PHILLIPS you really need to look into this problem!!!!!

The car power cord broke within 2 weeks. Had to buy a replacement because Phillips wouldn't replace it. Unit will just freeze up for days at a time, then just like magic it comes back on. Guess it was cheap enough to put put up with this stuff, but when you have a crying child because you have a 4 hour ride and no dvd player because it doesn't feel like working that day then it's not a very good deal.

i bought this dvd portable in november 2010, and 2 months later the screen turns green, i would never buy another electronic philips device.
