Philips Norelcodry electric razor

I purchased this shaver from Fry's Electronics (out-of-business) in San Jose, CA in Dec 2011. It is still my only shaver and continues to hold a charge for over a week! Seldom do you ever find such a durable and reliable product long-term. I am amazed that for over 12 years (!) this saver still works great. To me, Philips = great quality!

I have had a Philips since I first started with an electric razor. About 1952. As I remember, they were all Philips Nerelco's. If it works, why change. My last one, which I had for some time, was failing to give me a good shave, so I got another. By gosh, with this one, I found I was supposed to change the heads every once in a while. If I had know that, I would still have the old one.

One of the best Shavers I've ever had, however after about a year it stopped being able to charge. I do recommend it, though.

In all honesty, this is the best electric razor I've owned. Previous to this, I had a another Philips Norelco electric razor. I used it for over 8 years. I think I just wore it out. It too was a very good razor. But, I must say, Philips Norelco have made several improvements over my previous one. My new razor is much lighter, can be used with or without a cord, much easier to clean and most important.. the blades have been improved. I just can't say enough about my new razor. It gives me the closest shave I've ever had and there is absolutely no razor burn. I just love it!

I only use this occasionally alternating with a razor shave. The shape fits the hand well, the trimmer is nice also. Shaves better than the razor, no nicks.

I purchased the Powertouch PT720 in November 2015 and am very pleased with shave I get and the quietness of operation. Easy to use and clean every time I use it. I had bought another razor in a retail store and it was not for me. Ever since buying and using this PT720 razor, I have not regreted taking the other razor back and buying this product. I recommend the PT720 for a good, quiet shave.

Very easy to use and clean. I really love using it.

I am impressed with this shaver for many reasons. First it delivers a clean shave each morning in very little time. The quick shaves saves time getting out the door as well as maximizes the number of shaves per charge. Second the charge seems to last for a few weeks at a time. Third it is lightweight and easy to take with you. Just wish it had its own carrying case. Overall, I enjoy using this shaver.

I think the rotation speed of the heads seems lower on these rechargeable models than the older plug-in models. I like the faster speeds. I miss having a trimmer for my sideburns. If I don't wash my face before I shave each day, I get a bad rash on my neck. This does not happen to me when I use a blade and shaving cream. I have to go over and over spots to get a close, clean shave. Again, this does not happen when I use a blade and shaving cream. The battery charge lasts a good long time. I have to blow on the heads to clean them. The brush gets stuck in the holes of the head and does not really do a good job in the body when the heads are flipped up. The rechargeable model is bigger & just doesn't feel as good in my hand as the old plug-in models I used growing up. I'm thinking of going back to using blades in the morning (5 now-really smooth) but I like having the electric for a quick get-away shave.
