Philips Norelco Multigroom 7100Max performance head to toe Grooming Kit

i bought this shaver from Costco Canada. it sold out within hours each day. this is the best cordless shaver out there. if anyone complains , it's because they bought a refurbished from a reseller that didnt fix it. My coworkers bought same razor , excellent battery . these ion batteries are not meant to be replugged or recharged everytime.battery last well over 3 years , waterproof , works excellent when used on Turbo. if you have a Greek or Muslim hairy back, only corded shavers or waxing is better for you. no cordless or asian woman are meant for you, lol honestly! there are newer cordless shavers but this one is the best ! sadly its been discontinued . i use it for military haircut and my hairy legs once every 6 months. ive had it for 3 years. i cut my hair once a week in the shower. Make sure you remove the top blade assembly and clean out the internal mechanism every few months. many boys that are men dont clean or sanitize their shavers . Sadly filipina wife are having to mother them and to do everything.

This wasn't my first body trimmer. I've owned several, some better than others. The Multigroom 7100 is my favorite, because it gives me all the attachments I need to trim all the places that need grooming. This past winter I started growing a beard. The attachments weren't meant for detail trimming so I supplemented my Multigroom 7100 with a Philips OneBlade. Now I have everything I need to keep myself looking clear and well groomed. I highly recommend these products.

With this product, you don't need anything else! All body head to toe trimming and shaving. I've had the previous model with ni-mh battery, but the battery dies so had to replace with the new one! The only missing thing in this model is face shaving attachment that previous models had...

I had to replace an old Norelco trimmer that I had for eight years and figured if that one lasted that long than I have to stick with Norelco brand.

Have just purchased my second groomer of this model (so I can have one in my travel kit). I mostly use the 2" foil head for daily grooming of chest, arm pits and groin. I tried the "new" model with disastrous results due to the lack of the wide foil head -- the new model only has a very narrow foil head which was not usable for my purpose -- so returned the new model and bought the older model online.

I bought one at 2014 on our California-Trip. Works 3 years without problems. Practically, functionally design to a real fair price. Absolutely recommendable, I'd buy it again... Fred from Austria / Europe

I just bought (online) the same product (Model QG3392) a second time after three years of usage to replace one I purchased in-store in 2013; and I have also recommended it to my friends to buy. It serves my barbing/shaving/grooming needs, minimally twice weekly, reliably.

Have had this product since mid 2014. Early 2016; all the blades work, but the heads don't stay on tight to the unit. Esp. the body trimmer unit moves every time i use it.

My old trimmer died (thankfully) after 3-4 years. About the only thing I used it for was trimming ears, nose and eyebrows, and it wasn't very good at that. I accidentally scalped one eyebrow last week because the comb for my old trimmer broke, slipped off, and took the hair down to skin level. I bought this one to replace it (the trimmer, not the eyebrow), and I'm only relatively satisfied. I don't have a beard or mustache, but I do body-shave. For man-scaping, I always defaulted to my excellent cordless electric foil-head razor with trimmer. This groomer is okay at that, but I'm not blown away with its effectiveness, particularly for such a high price. This thing comes with a lot of attachments. But, considering the way I use a trimmer/groomer, I will never use the three larger combs. All the other attachments are useful for my purposes, except for the "man-bits." After trimming the length of that hair, a wet razor and a lather of hair conditioner work best for me. The bodygroom shaver attachment is a pretty nice all-around tool, and I use it all over. However, I must admit that my 10-year old electric foil-head razor does a better job. The groomer just doesn't get the stubble like my trusty electric razor. The biggest advantage that the Norelco groomer has over it is its ease of use. My electric razor is a bit heavy, bulky and awkward to maneuver in tight spots. The Norelco's shape and light weight makes it much better in that regard. In addition, the teeth on the metal trimmers are rounded, which makes for very comfortable trimming - biting and pulling are thankfully not an issue. This trimmer can be very loud and rattly at times. Not sure why, because I clean it well. And "Turbo-Boost" - I honestly can't tell that it makes any difference. Pushing that button does make it run much louder, but only fractionally faster. Maybe that's by design, but I find it puzzling. My biggest disappointment in this groomer is the blatant misrepresentations on the packaging. In two different spots, it clearly states "Corded and cordless use." In one of those same spots, it also states "Can use while charging." The instruction booklet I received says nothing about corded use, so unless I'm missing something, that claim is simply not true. It CANNOT be used while charging, because it simply will not turn on. That may not be such a major issue, because it's like keeping a big dog on a short leash - he can only run so far 'til he runs out of line. Still, the misrepresentation is a regretful overstatement, condoned by Norelco. I guess I'll keep the thing, because there just don't seem to be alternatives that are any better.
