Philips Norelco Shaver 5200Wet & dry electric shaver, Series 5000

The unit gives a good shave and is very easy to clean. It charges rapidly and holds a charge long past my shave.

I have stayed away from electric razors because I never found them to shave close. but the older you get the harder it is to shave with loose skin.. So I bought this shaver and am very happy with the closeness and ease of shaving

Well I have only used this once so far but considering that they are telling you to give them 21 days or 3 weeks this is a good buy. I have tried more expensive electric razors that don't even compare, the worst was the need to change heads from shaver to trimmer which wasn't much of a big deal. Just follow the suggestions and go in a circular motion against the normal hair growth, you will be able to tell easy once your hearing the hairs being cut. It is true a few times it will have to go over to remove it all. I'm a man that takes maybe as much as 3 days and it is time for a shave, I used to think nothing would out beat a regular bladed razor with some shaving cream. This did agitate my face a little but nothing much to be worried or complain about, the plus is no more need for shaving cream, no need to regularly clean the sink, and the clean up is easy plus you never have to count on having to deal with cuts. I use to use a one blade and not only would hair go flying all over the place but it never did near as well as this does I don't understand why there is a complaint about such a reliable device that shapes the fit of the hand so well and even a man with bumpy skin can still get a great shave from it.

My earlier version died after a number of years so I got this as a replacement. It works fine and has a couple of improvements. It can be cleaned under running water and the sideburn trimmer looks to be an improvement. I'm not sure it shaves as close as my prior version.

The Norelco 5200 razor works better then any other electric razor I have ever used. It shaves closer and is easier to use then other electric razors. Of course it does not shave as close as a blade but it shaves close enough. You need to run it over your face multiple times as with all electric razors. The razor is quieter then other electric razors and the battery is long lasting without that long of a recharging time. Overall a very good razor.

Another great Norelco Razer. I really like that I can wash the heads under running water so it's the easiest Norelco to keep clean that I've had. I accidently turned it off while using it but quickly learned to hold it differently so I don't keep turning it off while using it....that's the only downside I've found with this product. While thinking about writing this review I realized that I've only used Norelco Razers since 1978 and this is only my fourth! My last three Norelco Razers lasted an average of 13 years each and the third one is still running. No wonder I bought another will full expectation that It might live longer than I do. I wish my cars lasted as long as my Norelco Razers.

I've been a constant user of Norelco razors since I first began to shave, some 70-years now. The new 5200 is the best ever: gets the closest shaves, is so easy to wash-clean, and conforms to facial irregularities. I couldn't be more pleased.

What's not to like? Rotory heads give you a clean, close shave without the burn and nicks of other methods of shavers. And now you have the choise of wet or dry shaving with the same razor.
